LG Optimus 7 Review

May 19, 2011

As one of the two devices I will be getting from Microsoft, this was one of the initial devices I did like to have, it is the LG Optimus 7.

The handset is very weighty as the first impression, at 157g with 3.8 inch screen and 800 x 480 pixels, and it has a metal cover at the back for durability, with the standard three Windows buttons in front, its shape is rather curved and long (not really streamlined) with a plastic feel around the edges but its features are more impressive.

It has the usual specifications like the other Windows phones are the Wi-Fi,3G, and GPS, including HSDPA support a 7.2Mbs download with five megapixel camera, but the outstanding feature is the 16GB of internal memory much like the iPhone, which is the limitation of the memory but this is a generous offering.

The thing I like about the phone when it first came out are the 1,500mAh battery and a handful of useful apps from LG which has panaroma setting in the camera, ScanSearch augmented reality to find nearby cafes, restaurants and other shops aswell as the voice to text app.
